Lawyer and Doctor of Law. Professor at the Faculty of Law of the Pontifical Catholic University of Valparaíso.
Member of the Chilean Association of Constitutional Law, of the Latin American Society of International Law, and other prominent organizations, he was a counselor of the National Institute of Human Rights appointed by President Sebastián Piñera during his first term in office.
Professor at the Judicial Academy of Chile, the Hernán Correa de la Cerda Institute of Judicial Studies, and the Public Criminal Defense Office. He was a consultant for the Library of the National Congress (Innova BCN Program) on human rights.
He has taught in undergraduate programs at the Northern Catholic University, Valparaíso, Adolfo Ibáñez (Viña del Mar), and Central de Chile. At the Northern Catholic University, he organized the North Forum for the Study of Law and Rights of Indigenous Peoples, directing research projects and coordinating various publications.
