

Yerko Ljubetic Godoy is a lawyer, graduated from the University of Chile and former president of the Federation of Students of said University. He has a diploma in International Human Rights System from the University of Chile, Faculty of Law, and a Master’s degree in Labor Policies and Labor Relations from the University of Bologna / Central University.
He has vast experience working with social organizations, especially trade unions. This sensitivity led him to be Minister of Labor and Social Welfare during the Presidency of Ricardo Lagos.
He currently works as an academic at the Faculty of Economics and Business of the Alberto Hurtado University. He has devoted himself especially to issues related to business and human rights.
He was elected as an INDH counselor representing civil society for a period from July 2, 2019, to July 2, 2025.
